Sharks Go-Go Bar
Soi Diamond
Walking Street
South Pattaya
IF you judged a club on its advertising, then Sharks would be the biggest fish in the sea.
Huge red signs point the way to Sharks, men and ladies try to entice you in with big ‘cheap beer’ signs, and every other taxi has a poster stuck to its door.
So it’s certainly got the hype, but does Sharks have any bite?
Up a stairway where the walls are painted aqua-blue and festooned with sealife, there is a modest entrance.
Inside, a bar sits to your left and immediately in front of you is all the action.
More than a dozen girls wearing short, extremely short, white skirts,
and white tops, dance on the tables
Drinks are reasonably-priced, with draught beer going for 45 baht until 10pm, while other beers are about 100 baht a bottle.
Lady drinks are also 100 baht, while ladies’ cocktails are 150 baht.
The setting is typical of most clubs, seating around the edges, and six or so tables in the middle.
Girls move around each table regularly, and are happy to have 20 baht notes stuffed into their dresses.
It’s a busy club with a regular flow of punters through the doors. This could well be due to the more extreme antics some of the girls are happy to get up to, and which seem to go down well with the customers.
Located near the entertainment area of Central Pattaya, with sea or mountain view.
