Far East Rock
The Far East opens early afternoons - 13:00 and closes at 01:00. Located on Soi Post Office underneath a huge sign - you can't miss the place.
Far East Rock is a pretty popular hangout with the local expats. The ladies are easy on the eye swaying to and fro to a wide variety of rock music. A 21 inch TV with UBC centered in the bar provides an easy access enviroment for the sports lovers.
Far East Rock drink prices are low for a go go bar. Happy hour is from 13:00 to 15:00 with bottled beer at Bt 75 baht. It increases to Bt 95 after happy hour ends. Mixed drinks start at Bt 75 during happy hour and increasing to Bt 95. Ladies drinks are very reasonable at Bt 90. Singha draft is Bt 50 baht, Heineken draft is 60.
You won't be pressured into buying ladies drinks - except perhaps by yourself since the girls are quite freindly. Far East Rock go go doesn't have any special shows. Of course you can always make up your own.
A night of fun is Bt 600 for starters. But if you wish to spend about an hour with a favorite lady on the premises in the privacy of a nicely furnished room, the tariff is only Bt 300. They have 3 rooms so you shouldn't get too anxious in the que. Many punters have spent many an enjoyable afternoon drinking, watching TV and having a few laughs with the girls at Far East Rock.
What else could a man want?
